My 13 months old daughter has a colds and fever at night time for 2 nights already, and yesterday the fever stop and small pink rashes appeared in bod?
Rash in a child: Good that the fevers have stopped. That is something important to watch. Often, a rash may appear as the immune system recognizes the problem (the virus) and destroys it, creating a temporary rash. The appearance of the rash can tell a lot about the type of infection- such as measles, chicken pox, etc. Hopefully your child has been immunized properly. If doubts about her health, go to the doctor. ...Read more

Can a baby with after fever who has rashes all over the body to use fan or should he be using aircon in a room?
Hard to tell: Proper assessment will require some history, an exam & possibly lab work. This could be as simple as a transient virus or a more worrisome auto-immune disorder. I would have this evaluated by the child's physician when you can arrange it. If the kid is taking fluids well & playful at least part of the time it can wait until office hours. If the kid is not, start with an urgent care center. ...Read more

My niece has these very itchy and hot rashes all over her body, expecially on her face. Is it scarlett fever?

The rash seldom appears without fever, and usually starts in the bathing trunk area and axilla. There is often a pale area around the mouth. Without an exam by a doc, this is all just speculation. Many other things cause rasher over the body. ...Read more
