Waiting on colonoscopy, added higher fiber diet, difficult bowel movements, stool is normal width but stays together with thin core and test show microscopic blood, LLQ abdominal pain. Is stool with thin core holding everything together normal?

Possible Allergy: You may not be able to digest certain foods. Try keeping a food diary and see if a pattern or certain food causes problems, if so , avoid. Weight gain has to: Do with calories consumed being greater than calories burned. Sounds like some very nutritious foods. But fruits often have more sugars than vegetables. Your balance of fruits vs veggies is off. Encourage at least 5 servings of veggies per day and at least 4 of fruit. Your question really is not clear. Are you trying to gain or lose weight? Constipation/C. Dif : There is a small percentage of healthy adult will have c. Difficile toxin tested positive, but they will not need to be treated if they are symptomatic. It is not recommended to test for c. Difficile toxin status if you do not have diarrhea. For your constipation, suggest high fiber diet, use citrucel (one tablespoon in 8 oz of water, drink daily).
