Those medicines are safe together and should not interfere with each other. Most people use between 1 to 5 milligrams of melatonin at a time. I normally recommend people start with 1 milligram. Be careful you are not too sleepy the next morning after using melatonin.

Try excellent sleep: Hygiene first. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs prior to sleep & no alcohol or tobacco. Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep.
