I continue to bleed during sex. I took antibiotics for cervicitis but I am still bleeding during it. Its very embarrassing. What could be the problem?
A few ideas: Depending on how long you've been sexually active for, it could be that you have an ectropious cerivx, or that your cervix is reacting to infection with hpv (no medication other than vaccine for this). I have had LSIL since 2014, getting paps every 6 months. Just recently been diagnosed with cervicitis because of spotting after sex, is this cancer?
Not cancer: LSIL (low grade squamous intraepithelial neoplasia on a path report) rarely goes on to cancer. Cervicitis has lots of causes, but cancer usually isn't mong them. You need testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia, if not yet done. Discuss with your doctor and make sure you are tested and perhaps treated for STDs. Your partner also needs exam and maybe treatment.
