TV proximity: Hello ~ although not stated, I assume you are referring to the long term effects of IR rays. As far as I know IR is present only in the remote control units and the amount of IR irradiation is at a very low level and would not constitute a danger at that level. Home care: Puncture wounds do not require sutures except rare cases. If the child is behaving normally, interacting as usual, eating, not vomiting, playful, not groggy then flush the wound well, apply Bacitracin , ice it for 15 minutes 2-3 times for the next couple of days if the child will allow(frozen peas is great) . If it starts to get pus in it or really red or smell funny seek care. ...Read more

Hit head very hard @ playground w/kids. I stood up & hit the top of my head. Thought it cracked open but didn't. Vision was fuzzy. No vomit. Pupils ok?

Quick care: As you've said "hit head very hard" with immediate symptoms, I'd advise a quick assessment at your local quick care center to make sure you've not seriously hurt yourself. You may have a concussion, that would need to be addressed with you on what to watch out for. ...Read more
