Only SSRI: You really only tried one class of antidepressants: SSRI and most recently Abilify (aripiprazole). Your heartburn can be due to lap band and SSRI side effects. Try other class of antidepressants eg NRI, dual acting SNRI, TCA, MAOI or other mood stabilizer eg lamictal. Adderall is not great for depression as people who don't have ADD get tolerant to its antidepressant effects. Emsam patch might an option. ...Read more

However w/citalopram, even low doses can experience sedation, fatigue & dizziness especially if citalopram is already causing these SE's. Escitalopram[Lexapro] has less SE's. Also were tests normal? Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, these medicines have an enormous safety margin. IT does depend on the trazodone dose which can go up to 300 mg. If someone were on 100, then that's three times safer!
