Need the report..: The MRI isn't the best test to look for a fracture of the sacrum. (X-rays are the best, followed by CT scan). The MRI report should tell you if there's any swelling or bruising in the area, which is common after a fall on concrete. Perhaps that's what they meant by "fine". In any case, load the report onto HealthTap Prime & talk to the doctor who ordered the test to discuss. Is draining possible?

Suspect muscle: This could be a cyst which may or may not be infected. With this there could be muscle or bone or joint or combination with tendon and bursa involvement as part of the pain. Sometimes at a gym there's risk of infection. Sometimes if you look at the bump there may be a small hole that may be plugged indicating a possible inclusion cyst.

Shingles?: I would want you to make sure it is not shingles. Is it in a certain location or diffusely spread? If shingles, you should get some antiviral medication within 72 hours.

Cyst: Depending how long the lump has been present and how it formed, it may recede on its own, may need to be drained, or may need to be excised. See your physician and she/he will be better able to assess it. It is likely benign (meaning it won't cause serious problems), but is likely to be a nuisance until you get it taken care of.

I have a bump on my lower back that's hurts like crazy?

Bump lower back: Could be a boil, an infected sebacous cyst or rarely a growth. Would have it checked out by doctor /urgent care, as they can enlarge. May improve with antibiotics either topical like bacitracin or oral.

I have started to get small bumps on my lower back. They are painless and contain nothing.?

Lipoma possibly: That area is common for lipomas- completely benign fatty tumors just under the skin. Unless they become painful/enlarged (which might indicate an infection and would need medical treatment)- they do not require any intervention and may go away either fir no reason or dye to weight loss.

Having a small bump on lower back right side, what does it state when I press it I can fell little pain, any thing to worry

Not sure: It could be a cyst or a lipoma which is a collection of fat cells underneath your skin. I would see your general doctor or dermatologist.

Eczema: It could be any number of issues but with a history of eczema it is most likely more of the same. If you have been treated for this use your creams or try the eucerin eczema cream until you see the doctor next time. To make it stop itching sarna is very helpful as well.

Sound like: You might have a PILONIDAL cyst! Have it checked out by your Primary Care Provider This is from your rectal/anal area NOT your Spinal cord! Hope this helps! Dr Z

My grandson fell backwards and hit the lower back part of his head and it swelled into bump right away, should we take him for an X-ray?

My grandson fell backwards and hit the lower back part of his head and it swelled into bump right away, should we take him for an X-ray?

Head: X-ray not necessarily, being evaluated for it yes. Common area to swell up and more than likely should be ok, but let a medical professional evaluate it and determine next step. Likely observation will be the right approach unless develops any vomiting, major change in behavior, etc.
