My girlfriend has an ovarian cyst that ruptured . The doctor said it was caused by a bacterial infection i gave her?
Not sure: I would make that connection. You may want to ask for clarification and how he/she arrived at that diagnosis. I suppose anything may be possible but unless you have some type if genital infection i can't see the correlation. ...Read more

I have two ovarian cyst that have ruptured and caused stomach infections. Would it have an impact on my fertility and future pregnancy?
It might: Depends on cause, treatment (surgery?), etc. Maybe tests already were done or planned to evaluate for fallopian tube damage (laparoscopy, ultrasound, etc). Discuss with your gynecolgist and/or infertility specialist. Ask if "infected ovarian cyst" was a euphemism for pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or tubo-ovarian abscess, which may cause more tube damage than simple infected cysts. Good luck! ...Read more

Obgyn visit: If you are feeling better and do not feel that you are in an emergency situation then it is likely to be more productive to see an Obgyn. The ER will manage the acute issue and then if you are stable they will refer you for an outpatient visit to the appropriate specialist. In this case that is an Obgyn. ...Read more

Had an ovarian cyst rupture 2mnths ago on my left side, having exact symptoms one right side! Should I go to the ER? Appendix was removed already
Give It 24 Hours: Well, look at it this way: when your ovarian cyst ruptured they did an ultrasound, right? and that must have included both ovaries, right? and it seems you survived, right? so, it's kinda interesting they didn't see another cyst on the right side--so it must be something else; so let's just say if it doesn't go away or gets worse over 24 hours, go to ER (maybe it's a kidney stone) .Better? Hooray! ...Read more
Pain: A rupture cyst most commonly presents as sharp pain in the pelvis or abdomen. Sometimes patients report nausea with this pain as well.
