If you injured your foot back in july and you're still having pain, there is a fair chance you may have broken a bone or tore a ligament. I would therefore say yes, by all means, go get this checked out. I only hope that you haven't waited too long, because if it's been fractured or a ligament torn for all this time and you've been walking on it, the odds of a complete recovery at this point is severely compromised.
