Rules Of Malignancy For Pvcs Do These Apply To People With Normal Hearts
I am getting a feeling of suction in the chest. Followed by a pause of the heart and then normal rhythm. Echo Normal. Other test's Normal to. PVC?
Yes and No: The ticklish part is determining "normal" as that depends on the sophistication of the tests. Pvcs resulting in loss of consciousness are not benign. Pvcs causing just palpitations with a normal echo, ekg, and no evidence of coronary disease or other significant structural abnormality are benign. General rule: the health of the heart, not the # of pvcs determines benignity. Family hx counts too. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have pvcs. I'm told they are harmless unless I have underlined heart disease. Echo was normal, i'm 35. What tests would rule out heart disease?
Here some solutions: Pvcs can be caused by many different causes. You should have a medical evaluation to exclude causes like overactive thyroid gland, excess use of caffeine (coca cola and tea/coffee). Heart disease can be exclused/checked by getting your BP and cholesterol(lipid profile) done by your pcp. Make sure yur lipid profile and BP are normal, do not smoke and have normal weight and normal blood sugar. ...Read more
Random pvc's w reg heart r. Norm stress tread and echo. Two diff ef's 76% and 69% is this normal? Can a norm echo rule out cad?
No: A normal echo does not rule out cad. Your normal stress test does not rule it out either, but it does make it less likely. I would google framingham.Org, and see your doctor to go over the results with any symptoms you may be having. Did your parents have CAD when they were 50 or younger? Do you smoke? With these answers, your doctor may recommend further investigations. ...Read more
24yr old. Echo, ecg, 24hr ecg, heart mri + mri angiogram to rule out coronary anomalies. All normal. Would you say structurally normal even with pvcs?
I have PVC/ PAC/ Ectopic Beats is an Normal ECHO, 3 ECG's X-RAY, Blood tests, enough to rule out any Heart Diseases / Problems, Yes / No? Thank you.
No and yes: Your testing doesn't rule out coronary disease so a more complete workup should also include a stress test .That said, if your stated age of 23 is accurate, coronary disease is so rare at your age that stress testing is not indicated, so the answer is (except for very, very rare conditions) "yes". ...Read more
Heart skipped a beat then beat EXTREMELY fast for several seconds (I'd say >200 bpm) then returned to normal. Happened a few times. Was this a PVC?

I, m sorry i ask a lots of? But why do I get strong pvcs with normal cardio work up ....Normal heart cath
PVCs: Pvcs are annoying. Ask your doctor about medication to suppress them. A 1c agent would be preferred and is usually very effective if your heart is structurally normal. The normal heart cath is reassuring in terms of the question of safety vs risk but doesn't make the pvcs feel any better. ...Read more
