False positive IgM?: IgM antibody testing often is unreliable for many infections, including those caused by herpes-group viruses like CMV. At your age, you are at very low risk for a new CMV infection, and CMV would not cause symptoms like you mention. Your IgM test probably is a false positive. Actually good news: The tests mean you have immunity to those germs and your baby is not at risk from an infection from any of those mentioned. Any germ on that list could infect a mom for their first time during pregnancy & cause a miscarriage, birth defects or worse.
