You : You are right, it could be a torn calf muscle, or it could be that you tore a vein from the trauma and have a large hematoma. However, a blood clot is a possibility as well. Any calf pain and swelling should indicate a vascular study (ultrasound) of your leg to be sure that you don't have a blood clot, which can be fatal. I would advise that you see a physician and have this tested immediately. If you have pain, increased swelling, any shortness of breath or chest pain then you would have to be seen as an emergency. ...Read more

Unusual place for it: Vitiligo is usually located on the hands, neck and facial structures and they are devoid of pigment, not just pale areas. Location as a single spot on a leg would be an odd location and more likely to represent one of dozens of other possibilities.
