Rubber Band Looking Object In Stool
Can't say: I am able to track with this. Do you mean a brain zap?
Not the way I would: Keloids are an overgrowth of scar tissue. If a rubber band could be placed around a keloid to cut off its blood supply the keloid would have to turn black and fall off. This would leave a place for a new scar and potential new keloid to return. I treat most keloids with excision, steroids, pressure, topical silicone and sometimes short course of radiation if it has recurred.See 1 more doctor answer
Temporarily: Only temporarily in that you can induce an erection, but it can cause damage if too tight or left on too long. Long term, it does nothing for you or your penis size.
Is it ok if doctors office use the same rubber band to tie gourarm up while they draw blood or should it be new?
Not a problem: Medical offices use infection control practices to ensure that they don't spread diseases from person to person. If a tourniquet (arm band) gets contaminated the person using it should dispose of it. Otherwise, putting it around an arm with clean skin should not cause problems for repeated use.
Our son had a few small darker stringy soft objects in his stool. He is breasfed and we do not know what they could be.?
Solid food?: Is he taking any solid foods? Bananas can create stringy objects in stool. If exclusively breastfed and having stringy stool, follow up with doctor for definitive diagnosis.
2 days ago I put a rubber band on my keloid. It%b4s started getting bumpy as if it had water, now it popped and I have some left. What do I do?
Clean: I have never heard of taking care of a keloid in this way. It may actually come back bigger. That would be my expected result. I would just keep it clean now with water and soap daily then a thin layer of vaseline until it heals over. I would see a physician for taking care of the keloid in the future.
Can your vein blow from too much pressure, from the rubber band being too tightened? And if so can you also pass out from this BEFORE knowing it blew?
Vein distension: With a tight band, blood would pool below the vein but bleeding from the distended vein would be unusual. It shouldn't cause loss of consciousness either as the volume of pooled blood wouldn't be large enough to affect blood flow to the heart enough to cause a blackout.
For the last three days I have been getting the sensation of having a rubber band around my upper ankle. Feeling only lasts for a few seconds. No Pai?
Need more specifics: Please provide more history. When does this occur? What were you doing when you first noticed this pain? Is it constant, or intermittent? What makes it better or worse? Any other conditions or illnesses you are being treated for?
Tubal ligation: This is a surgical procedure performed under anesthesia by laparoscopic surgery using band-aid size incisions. Abdomen is inflated with carbon dioxide...You are asleep. The surgeon can see inside your abdomen with a highly specialized 'telescope'. A small silastic band is placed around a 'knuckle' of each tube, the ends seal off and separate, thereby creating a blockage which prevents conception.
Tubal ligation: Fallope ring is type of tubal ligation. Consider essure as less invasive, more effective permanent birth control. Many doctors offer this in their offices. Takes 5 minutes. Minimal discomfort. Return to normal activites later in the day. Http://scottkramermd. Com/womens-health-library/minimally-invasive-procedures/essure-permanent-birth-control/.See 1 more doctor answer
Indigestible fiber: Human beings lack the enzymes and anatomy to break down certain fibers, so they can't be absorbed by the intestines. It's very common for these indigestible fibers to be visible in the stool. While you might not have eaten corn recently, you may have eaten something with that appearance. Unless you're having other digestive problems (diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight loss), no worries.
Dangerous: If it was possible would've all Orthodontists treat that way? Space closure is a difficult treatment challenge, especially if bone has resorted following long term tooth loss. Using rubber bands alone will tip teeth and make them crooked, and can slip below the gums and cause tooth loss. Please see an Orthodontic Specialist to discuss the extent of your malocclusion and available treatments.See 2 more doctor answers
I bent over and felt something pop (like a rubber band) in my lower back. It is painful in pulses. Not constant.?
Several things: It could be that one of the joints "popped" (like when one cracks the finger knuckles). Tearing or rupturing a disk can also cause a pop and pain.
I've experienced what feels like a rubber band popping on the right side neck. It only has happened a few times but is concerning me. What could it be?
Nope: What I can tell you is that trying to correct your spacing on your own can result in loss of those teeth. Rubber bands can cause serious damage to the gum and bone tissue, and are not recommended by any dental professional. Consult with an orthodontist if you want it done pain and worry free.See 2 more doctor answers
