Limit activities: Without knowing what your shoulder injury is, it is probably safe to say of all activities listed aerobic walking should be fine until diagnosis is made. Roller derby is an intense contact sport and could definitely aggravate your shoulder if it is injured. See your doctor if you have shoulder pain, difficulty with range of motion for further work up, possible xray for a clearer diagnosis. ...Read more

Possibly!: If you can localize your pain ot the top (near ac joint) of the shoulder then consider ac joint as the source of pain. Certainly, other causes, such as rotator cuff tears cannot be ruled out unless proper evaluation and work-up by an orthopedist has been performed. Please see an orthopedist. In the meantime avoid any painful activitity, ice the painful area, consider the use of antiinflammatories. ...Read more
