Painpost op is a very individual response & is dependent on multiple factors: use of pain meds pre op &length of use, extent of surgery & diagnosis for surgery, any complications related to surgery, other existing medical problems, tobacco use, physical conditioning at time of surgery, etc. You should discuss this with surgeon especially if no decrease by 6 weeks postop. ...Read more
