Recommend evaluation: Unable to fully evaluate in this limited format. Recommend evaluation with vital signs, exam, lab testing and ultrasound. If symptoms associated with increased bleeding, fever, shortness of breath, dizziness then go to ER

Chances of missed miscarriage after hearing heartbeat at 8w3days? Heartbeat was 173bpm..

If the fetus: Was visualized sonographically with cardiac activity at 173bpm, there is no miscarriage. It won't increase or decrease the chance of subsequent miscarriage, however.

What are the odds of having a miscarriage after hearing a heartbeat?

What are the odds of having a miscarriage after hearing a heartbeat?

Can't predict: Hearing a heartbeat means the fetus is alive when the heartbeat is heard. This does not necessarily mean that the risk of a miscarriage is significantly decreased. On the other hand if a heart beat isn't present then miscarriage becomes much more possible or probable. Not sure what the actual miscarriage rate is.

I heard heart beat on doppler at 9 weeks, does the risk of miscarriage decrease?

Your baby: Is doing very well. Do you have any risk factors for miscarriage? If not, there is no increase or decrease risk for future miscarriage. Good luck.

I am 14 weeks I heard heartbeat at 10 weeks I go friday for checkup what are chances of miscarriage after hearing the heartbeat. I am nervous?

Slim, about 5%: The chance of miscarriage after documenting a normal heartbeat of the baby is low, less than 5%. But, it's still possible. By 14 weeks, if everything is progressing normally you are pretty much out of the miscarriage window! Good luck! Everything should be fine!

Very low: Although you could still have a miscarriage, hearing the heart beat at 9 weeks makes it very, very unlikely. It's in the range of 1 out of 100. You shouldn't be worried. Good luck!

After hearing fetal heart beat and heart beat is above 130 at 7wks what does miscarriage chance drop to?

After hearing fetal heart beat and heart beat is above 130 at 7wks what does miscarriage chance drop to?

Unlikely to miscarry: Approximately 15% of all clinically recognized pregnancies end in miscarriage. Once a heart beat is documented, that risk drops to about 1 in 20. It can still happen, but it is not likely. So you can relax a bit.

What is the risk of miscarriage after the heartbeat is seen on a 6 week ultrasound?

What is the risk of miscarriage after the heartbeat is seen on a 6 week ultrasound?

10-20%.: After your physician can identify limb buds and movements of the embryo your risk will decrease to less than 10%. It will be decreased even further (<1-5%) if your embryo grows well at the end of the first trimester (14 weeks). Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck!

At 9.5 weeks with twins, heartbeats were 167 and babies are 2.7cm & 3cm. At this point, what are the chances of miscarrying one or both twins?

At 9.5 weeks with twins, heartbeats were 167 and babies are 2.7cm & 3cm. At this point, what are the chances of miscarrying one or both twins?

Chances are lower: Obviously twins are a higher risk for complications than a single gestation but with 2 very healthy heartbeats you certainly can breathe somewhat easier. Your OB will go over with you risks of twins at the various gestational ages but I would try to relax at this point.

Dr what will be the success rate of injecting clexane daily after 2 very early miscarriages? Now on week 11 with right growth and heartbeat also

Blood thinning agent: Clexane (Enoxaparin) is a blood thin agent prescribed for those who have clotting dysfunctions that lead to recurrent miscarriage. 2 common examples are antiphospholipid antibody syndrome and Factor 5 Leiden. It should only be given when there is a proven diagnosis and only under the guidance of a doctor. It is safe for use when used appropriately.

I saw the doc at 6wks and there's no heartbeat the doc said its a miscarriage and wanted to schedule dnc. I up back in 5 days should I be scared.?

NO: A D&C is safe and does not cause future problems. Have confidence as long as your doctor is board certified and is a specialist (gyn). You will be restored to good health and you will be fertile.

What are the chances of miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat of 131 at 6 weeks 5 days when the embryo isn't growing properly only at 6 weeks 2 days?

What are the chances of miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat of 131 at 6 weeks 5 days when the embryo isn't growing properly only at 6 weeks 2 days?

Low: Actually a fetal pole measuring 6 weeks 2 days when you are 6 weeks 5 days pregnant is fine. Babies come in all sizes -plus or minus 5 days measurement (ahead or behind) is fine. Also not everyone has 28 day cycles and if you did not ovulate on day 14 of your cycle, dates may be measuring a little off. Were you told this was abnormal, because I do not think it is, unless I missing facts.

11wks5days heartbeat 163. Does the chances of a miscarriage go down significantly? I worry been spotting since 8wks. But baby looks healthy! Still wor

Relax: Every day your chance of miscarriage decreases. Te heart beat seems goos but where is the placenta. A frequent cause for bleeding is a low lying placenta or a placenta previa and it may be moving up. Ask your OB Good luck

Heartbeat at 6 weeks how likely is a miscarriage?

Pregnancy: With a fetal heart rate at 6 weeks the chances of miscarriage are reduced significantly: to around 3 to 5%. Factors which increase the risk of miscarriage include prior obstetric history (like if the patient has had recurrent miscarriage), any systemic medical illnesses. And advanced maternal age. Good prenatal care is important to improve the chances of a successful pregnnacy.

If babys heartbeat is normal at 9 weeks are the chances of miscarriage decreased?

If babys heartbeat is normal at 9 weeks are the chances of miscarriage decreased?

Pregnancy: The presence of a normal heart rate at 9 weeks reduces the risk of miscarriage. Most studies show that the presence of a normal fetal heart rate decreases the risk of micarriage to 3 to 5% (as compared to 15-20% before seeing a fetal heart rate.) there are a number of factors that can impact the risk of miscarriage, and good prenatal care is critical to improve the chances of success.

Could have a misdiagnosed miscarriage if no heartbeat seen at 7 weeks?

Could have a misdiagnosed miscarriage if no heartbeat seen at 7 weeks?

Probably not: If the baby (fetal pole) measures 7 weeks and there is no heartbeat seen, it is a miscarriage. The times when we aren't sure are if the fetal pole can't be clearly seen or if the dates are less than 6+ weeks. At that point, we might need to repeat the us in a week to be sure. Even if a miscarriage is diagnosed, you can take the time you need before doing anything about it like a d & c.
