My inner ear hurts. Like a bee sting. Feels like liquid is moving when I tilt my head. I'm walking around like I have turrets syndrome. Please help. ?
Simple Care: The good news is that area has fantastic blood supply and healing will occur rapidly. Inflammation (red, hot, tender swelling) is the body increasing blood flow to the injury to bring healing factors to the area and also the veins expand to carry bad stuff away. Dressings and ointments are of no value there. Avoid further trauma to the area and let nature take it's course. Motrin/advil will help. ...Read more

My son fell from a bunk bed 2 weeks ago. He ended up with a large bump on the back of his head. The Dr said he was fine, but I'm worried since its bee?
Not uncommon: It sounds like the kid accumulated the equivalent of a bruise under a portion of his scalp (just above the skull bone). When this happens, there is no way for the blood to be absorbed easily (no nearby blood vessels) so it can remain and even form a calcium filled lump. It does not mean something hurt the brain under the skull. If the kid acts fine he likely is.It may take months to fade. ...Read more

Not sure: Your clinical information indicates that you have Crohn's and are on an an antibiotic. It is difficult to tell from your description what this knot may be with any accuracy. If this is a softer, possibly rubbery small knot it could be a lymph node, but could be something else as well. As with any lump you find, it should have it evaluated to make sure that there are not other concerns. ...Read more

What makes my head sting when I touch it with my finger? Nothing stings until I put my fingers on my head and reminds me of a bee sting.
Head or face? Many..: ..possibilties but if ur symptoms involve the face, it is similar to a neurological problem called trigeminal neuralgia. (Trigeminal nerve covers the face). I received 5 bee stings in head area. My left eye continues to swell at night 6 days later. What should I do?
See doctor?: If the eye swelling is obscuring your vision or bothersome to you cosmetically, ask your doctor for a Rx (steroid). Have you tried antihistamine yet? If not, it 's worth a try. If the stings are truly from the bees, i would expect the problem to resolve in another week. The unusual feature is that the lid only swells at night and thus there may be possibly another cause for it. ...Read more
