I have severe, sharp pains to the right side of my chest. Pains are intermittent, not associated with shortness of breath. Lasts seconds only. ?

Likely not cardiac: Right sided sharp chest pains that last only seconds and are not associated with shortness of breath or any other symptoms are unlikely to be of cardiac origin.
