Yes it can!: A bladder infection can occasionally work its way up from the bladder to the kidney which is in the mid-back area. If the kidney gets infected, it is much more serious. There should be more robust clinical symptoms aside from back pain with that result from a urinary analysis. Many: Could be gall bladder disease but could also be musculo-skeletal such as a depressed or elevated rib or another rib injury(intercostal muscles). Have to think of emergent things such as heart attack, abd aortic aneurysm that is leaking or intestinal issue. Need more info. ...Read more

Unknown: Mild levoscoliosis can be caused simply by the posture you have adapted to deal with your discomfort. It may have no direct input to the pain. Most who develop scoliosis to even a moderate degree do so silently with no associated pain. A direct exam and discussion with your doc are a better way to sort out this issue. ...Read more

Very, very low: Dx of lung cancer is rarely if ever based on a back pain presentation. Stop worrying yourself about that. Do consider an exam to determine the problem - but expect it to be muscular or weight related. Whatever it is, try to follow tx recommendations. If you smoke - cut down or quit and ask the Dr for ways to evaluate your lung health. It's a good way to start the New Year - living healthily!. ...Read more
