Numbness: This symptom may be due to a nerve impingement in the wrist by thickened ligaments(caused by prolonged computer usage). Another possibility is vasospasm upon cold exposure as seen in Raynaud's syndrome. If associated tingling occurs, deficiencies of calcium, magnesium and potassium are possibilities. I don't know what you want? I have pain, numbness, tingling in my right hand — mostly in middle finger, ring finger, and pinky.

Ulnar neuropathy: Your symptoms sound suspicious for ulnar neuropathy...a pinched nerve, typically at the elbow. When you hit your funny bone, you're actually hitting this nerve. It's caused by leaning too much on the elbow or repetitive movement of the elbow. Don't lean on the edge of a table and don't sleep with your arms curled up tightly under your head. Only when severe, surgery may be needed to decompress. ...Read more
