I might think of some form of infectious colitis with your mucus BM's and elevated WBC count; the numbness/tingling and pain could be something entirely different. See below: Guess I am confused, as to why you would have your symptoms tested by evoked potential study which is basically worthless if you have a peripheral nerve problem. (although may help diagnose a spinal cord problem). The more appropriate test could be an EMG nerve conduction study. I think you need to sit down with your doctor and ask some direct questions. You may speak to : Your pcp regarding calcium channel blockers or topical nitropaste or possibly even viagra (sildenafil) ( seriously ) or another long acting nitrate. Avoid caffeine, smoking and get some warm socks ( seriously) make sure you do not also have new onset of diabetes and peripheral neuropathy due to that or another issues such as thyroid disease or some neurological issue you are blaming it all on frostbite. ...Read more
