If there is a visible mass on the outside of the abdomen it would be different than a palpable mass inside the abdomen. In either case, more tests may be needed to determine the diagnosis. Large abdominal mass: That's a pretty large mass - it might be attached to the right ovary but grown into the left side of your abdomen - causing pressure on other structures including the ureters and or left ovary.
