Not necessarily: The symptoms of ear fullness and tragus pain are not typical allergy symptoms. Typical allergy symptoms would be nasal drainage, congestion, scratchy throat, postnasal drip, itchy, red, watery eyes. I wake up every morning with a really bad headache. I constantly have a pain in my right temple, right ear and teeth on the right side. Also numbness?

TMJ: Sounds like you could have a really bad case of teeth or tooth grinding if this is only on the right side. With the numbness my guess is some form of TMJ. See your local dentist or oral surgeon and what they say. Then, tell me! LOL. If you'd like to write me: www. Healthtap. Com/dr-saghafi ...Read more

I had a tube put in my right ear about 2 months ago. I told the doctor at the time that my tongue went numb on that side. It's still numb. Why?

Re-contact that Dr: I expect you're not happy w/ that Dr, but they need to know and they should want to evaluate and correct (if possible) any problem the procedure caused. It sounds like nerve (s) in that area were interfered with - hopefully an adjustment will allow recovery. But you have to let them know. If you go to a new Dr, they'll be likely to want to confer and that's okay too. Don't wait to do something. ...Read more

My neck was injured 2 years ago. My numbness and headaches are worse now. What should I do? Is this serious? I have headaches that last 4 to 5 days, numbness in my hand, forearm and upper arm. My right ear swells up and I have a persistent shrill ringing

If: If these symptoms have been on and off since your injury then we can possibly attribute your symptoms to the neck injury. You may be dealing with a compression or herniation in your spine and/ or arthritis in your spine, obviously in the area that was previously injured. You need to follow up with your primary care provider or orthopedist. If x-rays have not been done recently, then after a thorough exam these should be ordered followed possibly by an mri. In the meantime your doctor can prescribe you anti-inflammatory medications as well as meds directed at nerve pain. Lastly a complete history and physical are in order if one has not been done in the past year or so.
All the best. ...Read more
