Pain in calf: SandraG296 ~ sounds like shin splints, and theres no treatment besides, rest, flat shoes ( stay off the stillettos) patience and good nature. The kneeling part suggests a pre-patella bursitis but you have to be very much more specific about site of pain for me to call that. Treatment is same there, plus, dont go to Church, dont fix a roof and dont tile as floor ! It gets better.. :-)) ...Read more

Peroneus tendons: The area you are describing suggests an injury of the peroneus longus or brevis tendons. Dancers and athletes who rapidly move their feet are more likely to cause injury or irritation of these tendons. My father has a dvt in his right calf and has factor 5. Recently his left calf is causing him pain and is becoming more swollen and tender. ?

Clot again/infection: He may have a blood clot if he's on blood thinners already for the other blood clot, then investigation with imaging would not change the management...he should follow up with a hematologist... Might benefit from a IVC filter to catch any clots from going to the lungs. If here's redness, swelling,infection/cellulitis is possible and he needs to see a doc to get abx ...Read more
