I have strong pain in my front calf just below and to the right of my knee but only when kneeling. It is not tender to touch or when exercising.
Pain in calf: SandraG296 ~ sounds like shin splints, and theres no treatment besides, rest, flat shoes ( stay off the stillettos) patience and good nature. The kneeling part suggests a pre-patella bursitis but you have to be very much more specific about site of pain for me to call that. Peroneus tendons: The area you are describing suggests an injury of the peroneus longus or brevis tendons. Dancers and athletes who rapidly move their feet are more likely to cause injury or irritation of these tendons.
