Fell 10 ft, no neck or arm pain prior, now pain and numbness, 1st mri- c5-c6 bulge with spur, 2nd mri- c5-c6 bulge no spur, do I need a 3rd mri?
Not necessarily: Unless your doctor deems one of the 2 MRIs of bad quality and that could the the reason why you see something on one but not the other then (and I cannot see either MRI) it is likely that the "spur" is not very bad. I would think you would possibly benefit more from a simple flexion/extension and oblique X-rays than a repeat MRI and a good exam to assess if your symptoms go along with C5/6 ...Read more

Intrinsic shoulder: Joint problem, such as rotator cuff tear or frozen shoulder joint may be present. Perhaps a parsonage turner syndrome or even a thoracic outlet syndrome if symptoms worsen on arm elevation. However, sounds like a mix of joint and plexus. See orthopedic surgeon first. ...Read more
Nerve root injury:
One of the more common causes of your symptoms is a cervical nerve root injury called cervical radiculopathy. In a man of your age the cause is more likely to be osteoarthritis affecting the foramen (hole where the nerve root exits).
The reports of numbness argues against an intrinsic shoulder problem and without antecedent trauma a brachial plexus lesion is unlikely.
