Right Abdominal Pain Under Ribs
Upper right abdominal pain under ribs, back pain in same area, burning between shoulder blades, lose bowel pancreatic cancer? Stressed
Pancreatic CA: The sx your list can be related to pancreatic cancer. Pts who have pain in RUQ can also have gallstones...which at your age would be very likely while the pancreatic ca would be uncommon, esp if you don't smoke. Stress can cause lots of sx. You should see your local doc for check up. They can help even if its stress related.
Right upper abdominal pain, under rib cage when walking for the past 3 months. After recent flight feel pain also at night spreading to back. Concerns?
Biliary colic: You may have gall bladder disease, i.e. Stones. A frequent symptom is being awakened at night with RUQ pain and radiation around o the back, caused by a stone rolling into the neck of the gall bladder and obstructing the cystic duct. An ultrasound of the gall bladder should be done to diagnose this.See 1 more doctor answer
Abdominal pain right side under ribs, spreading to back, hip and leg. Lab shows ALT high, gallbladder was removed last year. Should I be concerned?
See your doctor.: We don't have enough detail here to guess as to what's wrong with you, but knowing that you're having pain and that your ALT is high indicates that you need more work up. I would go back to your doctor for that. You may need a referral to a gastroenterologist for a liver evaluation. Do not ignore it. Good luck.

Doctor can evaluate: Upper abdominal pain can be from "acid" pains, such as a stomach ulcer, just gastritis with no ulcer, or reflux (heartburn). An infection with H. pylori bacteria can lead to stomach ulcer pains (an acid blocker can help). One needs more evaluation by her primary care doctor. Heart disease, rib and cartilage problems, pancreatitis, gallstones, or various cancers can cause upper abdominal pain.
I'm sixteen years old and I have had upper abdominal pain and chest pain for the last three or more weeks. I am very scared.
Relax but evaluate: At your age this is more likely to be irritation of your swallowing tube than anything serious. It can/does hurt & many people immediately thing it is heart related. Avoid acidic foods/carbonated drinks & caffeine. Don't eat or drink within an hour of laying down. Go in and be evaluated.See 1 more doctor answer
