48 yrs old. Pain that comes & goes on right side of abdomen. Bad back pain. Could this be related to ovaries? Very worried

Less likely: As far as ALL CAUSES of back pain are concerned ovarian pathology definitely ranks as less likely than much more common things such as osteoarthritis, back muscle pain/fatigue, disc problems, and others. Having said that and not knowing all your details regarding this back pain, ovarian pathology clearly can cause abdominal and back pain. Recommend an examination by a good doctor for certainty. ...Read more

right abdomen pain and right back pain at times what symptoms would you have with pancreatic cancer? If pain was in this area? Feels tight all around

right abdomen pain and right back pain at times what symptoms would you have with pancreatic cancer? If pain was in this area? Feels tight all around

Unlikely: Pancreatic Cancer is rare under the age of 40, so I seriously doubt that you have this diagnosis. If your symptoms do not settle down with antacids like Zantac (ranitidine) daily, then you should have a physician examine you and may also do a CT Scan of the abdomen which is the best way to check for any hidden tumor/growth or Cancer. ...Read more

I'm 28 and just had perfect EKG and blood tests but little high iron. 3 months ago I had twitches in upper right abdomen, back again. No pain. Why?

Can you please tell what happens after your periods are over. I mean slight lower abdomen and back pain is normal. What happens after evey period? Virgin

Being a Female: I appreciate your question but that answer would be book length. The female cycle is very much a great marvel. I believe strongly that women can be empowered by knowing as much about their bodies as they can learn. I often have them start with this website (it used to be a great book for females about their body) http://www.Ourbodiesourselves.Org. ...Read more

Both ovary big in size. Peripheral cyst there. Abdomen and back pain and sometimes nausea. How to take treatment for this? Is it dangerous?

Probably ok: A cyst is not pathology, it is merely descriptive. It is the type of cyst that is important. Also, what does large mean? In most women your age these "cysts" are either follicles or a corpus luteum. They can be treated by birth control pills, if treatment is even required- most need no treatment.
