Hives, swelling of hands, feet, eyelids & lips called angioedema, breathing issues due to windpipe swelling or asthma & GI symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain & diarrhea. GI Symptoms with UTI: Any antibiotics taken for infections, does disturb/ alter gastro intestinal flora. Strong antibiotics does cause gastric upset. By their action on intestinal flora, they cause diarrhea, as well. Diarrhea, if associated with fever & nausea/ vomittings, that is a sign of claustridium defficile infection. Which probiotic strain is best for post antibiotic (flagyl-cipro) therapy of sibo. Also highly lactose intol. Sibo symptoms returned very quickly.

Also drug allergy is often confused with adverse drug reactions,so a patient can't tell if it is a true drug allergy or just an adverse reaction.
