During pregnancy: Most patients and unfortunately even some dentists shy away from proper dental care for pregnant women. Any elective treatment can\should be postponed but all emergency and\or necessary dental care including extractions can usually be performed with proper precautions and by competent dentists. You, your dentist and your ob\gyn should consult with each other. Often, no treatment is worse for all. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

Sometimes a period can be missed due to a persistent cyst from the cycle before, again a doctor can help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had back&side pain (left), abdominal&hip pain. All since had c section 13 weeks ago, could it be related to pregnancy or recovering?

There may be some injury to the ureter (the tune from the kidney tintype bladder) which may explain the left-sided back pain though this is not that common in C-sections. Finally, it may be chronic back issues or positional problems even nerve stretching or injuries from the procedure itself though less likely. ...Read more

Is rib pain abnormal in week 26-27 of pregnancy? My ob said that i shouldn't feel uncomfortable from everything moving up until around 32 weeks.

Position of baby and activity of baby, as well as mom's anatomy can have lots of effects. Imagine a woman who is 5'10" tall at 27 weeks of pregnancy, and then a woman who is 5' 2". The length of their torsos varies and thus so would rib pain. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
