Why would people tell my daughte to make me dnr because people get their ribs broken and just die anyway? She believed them. I don't want dnr.
Likely legal issue: If you have been judged incompetent by a court or signed over your power of medical attorney to your daughter she gets to make that decision. If not and you do not want that designation you simply tell the staff what you want. Once you sign away your privileges it is a legal journey to get them back. ...Read more

More or less: Hi. Rib pain from a fractured rib is nasty stuff. I would say that pain is not normal, but is normal for a broken rib.
