Yes: Nasal septal perforations are a problem. They crust and bleed easily. Unfortunately using a nasal spray can sometimes aggravate the situation even though you angle the spray away from the perforation. You might be better to try to get the perforation fixed. If the perforation is small fixing it is relatively easy. Seek an experienced ENT physician who will be able to advise you in more detail. ...Read more

Fexofenadine: Tough to say which is safest and if any can contribute to sezures in your daughter, but fexofenadine (allegra) does not cross the blood brain barrier. Can help: If you have eustachian tube dysfunction (problems equalizing ear pressure) those meds can sometimes help. Sudafed is not a good medication for long term use, however, especially if you have high blood pressure or a heart problem. Discuss with your doctor or ent.
