Side has thyroid problems. What else could cause low thyroid and hormonal imbalances besides thrush?
Not a cause: Trush (candidal or yeast infection) does not cause thyroid problems nor hormonal problems.
NonAllergicRhinitis: Comprehensive medical history and physical exam is often sufficient. A long list of things are implicated in nonallergic rhinitis, hormonal being one. If presentation suggests hypothyroidism, appropriate labs should be performed. Tests to rule out systemic causes that may mimic rhinitis such as immunologic conditions (e.g. Sarcoidosis, wegners) may be indicated as suggested by clinical presentatio.See 2 more doctor answers

Coffee with pills: Coffee decreases the absorption of T4, so don't drink coffee when you are taking your medicine. Otherwise, no dietary restrictionsSee 1 more doctor answer
Swollen gland: Likely what you are describing is something called lymphadenopathy, which is swelling and inflammation of lymph nodes. This can lead to pain and can be aggravated by movement, depending on the location of the swollen lymph node. Generally speaking, most lymphadenopathy is caused by infectious processes. This could be viral or bacterial. If it is bacterial, the antibiotics can help. Try advil (ibuprofen) too.See 1 more doctor answer

I have been fine ever since just had a cold with runny nose and sneezing minor headache and sore neck. Could it be meningitis?
2 yo with fever cough runny nose two ear infect strep n flu - grabbing neck what are signs of meninjitis? Cvc was normal as well y neck grabbing?
Various: There are various signs of meningitis. Pain when moving the neck, lisltlessness, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity and headaches (of course headaches would not be something a 2 yo would verbalize). Grabbing the front ofbreast the neck could be a sign of a sore throat perhaps due to strep. If you suspect meningitis call your doctor as soon as possible.
Had a cold with runny nose, wet cough, swollen lymph nodes in neck, lasted 2-3 months...was months ago but lymph nodes never went down and still hurt?
Lymphnodes: This can be common, as often the nodes may get blocked and stay enlarged for quite some time. See your Dr. For an eval and eventually if they do not decrease with treatment advice form your dr. You may need testing and further eval of the nodes. Good luck.
Mild fever that comes and goes (more than 3w) and a swollen lymph node in the neck. Had cough and runny nose but its gone. Fever making me worry. HIV?
Not necessarily: The symptoms you are having can have several possible causes, from something minor like a sinus infection to scarier stuff. Something is going on and hasn't gone away on its own. Get an evaluation and treatment by a doctor, in person: the quickest way to get an answer. It is a terrible worry to have, for sure Obviously, if you do not wish to get HIV, prevention is the key next time & every time.
