Retroverted Uterus Ultrasound
My ultrasound report came back retroverted uterus measuring 37cc and saying I have multiple bilateral follicles, I'm just wondering what this means.
Ultrasound: That ultrasound not abnormal. You have a lot of eggs to hatch (follicles) and your uterus has sagged abit backwards instead or the normal forward positions
An ultraound, also known as a sonogram, is a painless and relatively inexpensive imaging test that utilizes sound waves instead of ionizing radiation. There are no side effects. Ultrasound can give us two-dimensional, and in some applications three-dimensional, images of structures and organs in virtually any part of the body. In addition to diagnostic uses, such as evaluating abnormalities in the abdomen, pelvis, and breast, ultrasounds are commonly used to guide needle and catheter placement in a variety of surgical ...Read more
Ultrasound shows 3.2 complex ovary cyst with septations and retroverted uterus with prominent 1.7 CM endometrium. Do I have a reason to worry?
Depends: As long as those septations are thin, very thin, no. But the thicker they get the more attention they draw as they may be worrisome. Endometrial thickness depends on hormones. So if you still have a period, then maybe not
Barium enema, pelvic sonogram (2001) results: normal. 2010. Redundant colon and a retroverted uterus. How can these conditions be congenital?

Told years ago i had retroverted uterus, u/s confirmed. Then two years ago u/s said anteverted and then one year ago said retroverted again! how?
"Lost in space": The uterus is supported by ligaments that allow it to be moveable in space and not fixed in a certain position forever. That is the "flip side" of your question.
U/s report said i had a retroverted uterus. Three months later, u/s said it was anteverted and then 6 month later u/s report said retroverted? Why?
May depend on how: Full your bladder was. A full bladder will lift the uterus up. An empty bladder provides room in the anterior pelvis for the uterus to drop into. Also, were both us examinations the same? Transvaginal would have an empty bladder and transabdominal a full bladder. Finally, having stool in the rectum and sigmoid colon would displace the uterus upwards and forward.
If I have a retroverted uterus is it possible for the heartbeat of the baby to be measured Slower than expected at 7 w 3 d? 100bpm and measuring 6w2d?

Depends: A retroverted uterus just means the position of the uterus is tilted back towards the rectum. This is not abnormal. Bulky usually means the uterus is enlarged. The most common reasons are fibroids and adenomyosis. Both are benign conditions but if symptoms are bad treatment can be considered.

Unsure: Many omen have a retroverted uterus. That in itself is not a reason for hysterectomy. However, there are a number of appropriate indications for hysterectomy including bleeding that doesn't respond to medical management, prolapse of the vagina or uterus, painful periods, endometriosis, etc. Your gynecologist will be able to help you decide if your best treatment option is a hysterectomy.
What is the best way to get pregnant fast with a retroverted uterus been trying for nearly a year?
No clear answer.: There is no best way to get pregnant or to get pregnant quickly, and sometimes conceiving can take time. I suggest that you talk to your gynecologist about wanting to conceive. They can tell you when intervention might be helpful and make sure that you are in good health for pregnancy.
Currently TTC with a Retroverted Uterus. What is the best position to do? Missionary isn't working.
Fertility: The retroverted uterus does not prevent conception using any "position". If you are ovulating normally, with regular periods, and pregnancy does not occur when you are having sex at the time of ovulation for six months (get a thermometer calibrated in tenths at your drugstore to determine ovulation). Consult your healthcare professional. He/she may recommend a semen analysis for your partner.See 2 more doctor answers
My daughter 13 years old have retroverted uterus causes bad low back pains how to solve this it affects her daily activities and her mood?
Doubt it: Very unlikely that retroverted uterus in 13-y-o be responsible for bad low back pain. Suggest you consult pediatric orthopedist. Anatomic musculo-skeletal abnormality should be ruled out. Physical therapy & exercise could then take care of it. Obresity might also be a factor which could also be problematic with both activities & mood. Latter might require counseling.See 1 more doctor answer
None!: A retroverted uterus is one that's tilted towards your back, rather than your abdomen; it occurs in 20% of women and does not have symptoms, RARELY associated with discomfort. It can't be prevented and there's no need to treat b/c it won't affect your fertility/ability to continue a pregnancy/have a vaginal delivery. It can only be a problem if caused by past surgeries/endometriosis, otherwise OK.See 1 more doctor answer
