If not pregnant after 1 yr, see your ob-gyn or a specialist in infertility. Male's sperm count will be checked first, then u will undergo several tests to check your uterus, tubes and ovaries. May depend on how: Full your bladder was. A full bladder will lift the uterus up. An empty bladder provides room in the anterior pelvis for the uterus to drop into. It can't be prevented and there's no need to treat b/c it won't affect your fertility/ability to continue a pregnancy/have a vaginal delivery.
