Which position is the best for a retroverted uterus?

Which position is the best for a retroverted uterus?

No best position: Sexual satisfaction is subjective and every woman is different. Do what feels best to you and make sure that you've had a discussion with your partner about doing what makes you most comfortable. Some people however may consider side-lying as a neutral position that is independent of uterine anteversion or retroversion.

Did retroverted uterus create problem to concive?

No effect: A retroverted uterus is one that's tilted towards your back, rather than your abdomen; it occurs in 20% of women and does not have symptoms, RARELY associated with discomfort. It can't be prevented and there's no need to treat b/c it won't affect your fertility/ability to continue a pregnancy/have a vaginal delivery. It can only be a problem if caused by past surgeries/endometriosis, otherwise OK.

Hysterectomy for retroverted uterus, how would this work?

Hysterectomy for retroverted uterus, how would this work?

Probably the same: The uterus can be retroverted, anteverted, or mid-plane and all of these are normal. That does not usually affect the process of performing a hysterectomy. What can complicate the procedure would be significant adhesions or other exophytic disease.

I have retroverted uterus and my endometrium lining is 17mm. Will it be a hindrance if I want to conceive? What should I do?

Start trying: A retroverted uterus is very common. If your lining is 17mm that also is very common and could mean you are getting ready to ovulate. If you want to get pregnant start getting ready. You may want to talk to your doc about "preconception counseling" and start taking a prenatal vitamin.
