Not typical: A topical steroid ( betamethasone ) is not typical medication used for acne ( but it can be used). The usual medication choices are benzoyl peroxide, retinoids and antibiotics. I want to use a glycolic acid cleanser followed by a salicylic toner followed by a retinol serum. How much time should I leave in between?

Let it dry.: Be sure you dilute and remove all of the glycolic and let skin dry completely before applying the salicylic. You may get irritation with retinol over the salicylic, so best to let it dry first and if so, don't use them together. You could use a hair dryer on cool to make this quicker.
