I had a Herpes-6 IgG test done and normal is less than 1:80 titer but my result was exactly 1:80 titer. Significance? I was 15 when the test was done.

If it was really: Rash producing illness is often labeled without a confirmatory test.Rubella would be a hard diagnose without testing as many of todays docs have never seen it. The sensitivity of the titer may be the best way to confirm the label, but if the titer was not at a protective level, it would not hurt to get a booster. ...Read more

It depends: on why this child required diphtheria and tetanus immunoglobulin titers in the first place. Most children go through the 3 stage DPaT vaccinations and never require Ig titers. Those titer concentrations mean that the necessary immunoglobulins against those conditions were undetectable in assay. Whether that means low immunity depends on the situation and the child. I am immuno-compromised and was given shingles vacccine. Recurrent shingles 9 months now and PHN.VZV IGG& IGM positive 4.21 titer?
VZV IgG titer= 1926, VZV IgM titer >3.91 with reactivated shingles present. What does test mean? Active VZV infection? Is 1926 dangerously high.
What does a hsv2 IgM pos 1:40 titer and hsv2 IgG negative indicate. Is this a low titer. I'm asymptotic. Do I have herpes. Please help ?
