I have met with short term memory loss in accident n nw I feel restlessness in my left hand and then in whole left body. May I know its reason?

Accident?: You haven't shared the type of accident you had. But if there was head injury (even without loss of consciousness), short term memory loss could result. As for the left-sided restlessness, you really need a complete neurological evaluation to know "its reason." this would involve history, physical exam, and various other diagnostic tests as determined by the neurologist. My grandmother, my father, his sister and my sister have this weird tingling feeling in their hands and legs at night. They become restless. Remedy?

Restless legs: A cheap and easy home remedy is tonic water. Drink 6 ounces before bed. Tonic water contains quinine in small amounts. Quinine can interfere with some medicines so it would be wise to double check that first if they are on any medicines. This works well for many people. Read more

See a psychiatrist.: Your description sounds like a possible combination of generalized anxiety disorder but rather severe type mixed with some symptoms of social anxiety. You also are on the verge of panic. You will need a full diagnostic evaluation by a psychiatrist who will then work with you on a treatment plan which should include psychotherapy either with the psychiatrist or separately with a psychotherapist. Best wishes. Read more

Can be normal: Quite a few folks have this especially when they're doing conditioning. It's a sign you're working hard and you should be proud. Since you're under a physician's care, if this does not resolve as you get more conditioned, discuss whether you might have familial tremor (treated with propranolol, perhaps), a channelopathy (get electrolytes checked) or get a neurology referral. Glad you're exercising Read more

What can cause neck pain and numbness in hands while sleeping. While working I have twisting of fingers and restless legs while resting.

Neck problems: It is very possible that the root if your numbness, tingling and lack of strength of upper extremities and hands is on the neck. High and hard pillows may exacerbate it while in bed. Make a consult to a chiropractor or medical doctor regarding your neck contracture and pain. Use a soft pillow or none at all. Relax your neck when you work at the office, using a tall seat whenever possible. Read more

No. Symptomatic: hypoglycemia is one of the easiest conditions to rule out. Check your blood sugar when severely symptomatic, with a common glucometer (most diabetics have them), and see if your sugar is low. If not, then your symptoms are not related. Read more
