Hey Recently my Bf had his colonoscopy done and it was identified that three apthoid ulcer were found measuring 1 mm in the terminal ileum. biopsies were obtained but the biopsies reports says that they cannot identify the problem. do i need to worry ?
Ileum ulcers: In general, you should not have to worry. Aphthous ulcers in the ileum can have many underlying causes, including infection, autoimmune, medication (pills usually) and idiopathic (inflammatory bowel disease.) Depending on the symptoms that led to the colonoscopy, further work-up or trial therapies may lead to more specific answers. Cancer not likely on the list at his age. ...Read more

Slight hazziness seen in the left paracardic region is my X-ray report
It’s there any problem in my chest?
Non specific: Haziness is a vague term. Radiologist should have reason for requesting study and referring doctor should have examined or been consulted by patient with additional information. If fever and cough, density could be atelectasis (volume loss) or possible early pneumonia. Chest pain as symptom might be from trauma, pleurisy etc. Symptoms to be correlated. Wheezing, hemoptysis other causes. ...Read more
58 yr old Methadone pt; enlarged aorta; self reports taking too many "Goody" powders. Could that cause this problem?
It could: these are basically the same as excedrin and contain aspirin, tylenol (acetaminophen) and caffeine. Too much Aspirin can cause severe stomach upset, heartburn and even bleeding in the stomach, and also potentially increases bleeding time if you have other injuries. Too much tylenol (acetaminophen) can severely damage the liver, and too much caffeine causes anxiety, insomnia and even heart arrhythmias.Take per package insert only ...Read more

is there any problem for me.please help?
Numbers are numbers: The rest of the story is needed, as this one numerical result itself has no worrisome meaning without hearing the rest of the story. One's regular doctor, who knows why a blood test was ordered and who has examined the patient, can be helpful here. Otherwise, these numbers are just numbers... without much meaning. ...Read more

Ttc immediately after m/c(22aug) at 19w for ic. Reports r normal. Dr. Said no problem if get pg right now but better to wait 1cycle. How right she is?
Probably right.: There is little evidence to say how long (if at all) to wait for conception after a midpregnancy fetal demise - my condolences for your loss. One cycle later should be enough - although it may not be necessary; i would trust your gynecologist - it sounds like she knows what she is doing. Sorry, ? question: Hello, I am happy you are feeling well. I'm sorry your question is unclear. It sounds like you have some lab reports and see that there is a positive result related to hepatitis B. my husbands semen test repoprt is ok. Did little amount of ejaculation create problem to cocive?
It can: If your husband's semen analysis is normal by who criteria and you have been tested as well and are normal, problems with conception could be secondary to other factors like anti sperm antibodies (from trauma), older age couples (>40), etc. Small ejaculate volume can be a problem, but how is that possible if his semen test that includes volume was normal? Unless on the report he has small volume? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
