My neck is always stiff, not in the lower neck shoulder area but like a narrow strip at the upper and middle part of my neck. What would help?
Slap repair 10 weeks ago. Shoulder catches during pt. Plus some freezing. Possible that there was something missed? Os is re scoping in few weeks
Maybe didn't heal: A second look arthroscopy as you describe will look for healing or missed problems. If the repair did not take or and anchor is loose, then the repair will likely be revised. ...Read more

What does it mean to have narrowing in the disks in my neck? And could this be also causing extreme pain in my shoulder?
Degeneration: Discs in the neck serve as shock absorbers and space maintainers and help keep the neck mobile to twist and turn to look around. Discs can degenerate and thus narrowing between the vertebrae occur. The nerves coming off the spinal cord exit at the levels of the discs. If there is too much narrowing, the nerves are "pinched" and pain results. Yes, this can be in the shoulder and go down the arm. ...Read more

I have been struggling for well over a yr since open shoulder repairs, with now chronic pain and fatique, odd m.S.-like symptoms. Can surg do this?
Not Likely: The symptoms sound serious enough that you should get a thorough evaluation. The symptoms don't sound like a post surgical syndrome, but possibly you contracted a chronic slow growing infection while in hospital. Mycoplasma is one candidate, and resistant strains have been found increasingly in hospitals. Get checked out. ...Read more
