Can I get renova (tretinoin) in france?

Can I get renova (tretinoin) in france?

Not legally: Renova is a us brand of tretinoin. France, as does the entire european union, has strict rules against importing non-eu manufactured prescription medications. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Renova and you can get regular tretinoin in france very easily. Be careful with sun-exposure and use a good sunscreen with it. Start of at a low-dose until your skin becomes tolerant and ten increase it. ...Read more

Can you take a 2 month summer break from renova (tretinoin) to catch a little sun. I mean little! Live in northeast and always in sun for summer.

Renova (tretinoin): Two weeks is a good amount of time. I usually recommend between one and two weeks prior to intense sun exposure. For moderate sun exposure, one does not need to stop the Retin-A at all, just use proper sun protection and avoid the sun in peak hours. Given that it will be difficult to avoid intense sun exposure on your trip, your plan to use sun protective clothing, eyewear and sunscreens. ...Read more

Can you apply renova (tretinoin) in the day as long as you plan on staying inside out of sun? Thus does artificial light effect renova (tretinoin)?

Avoid ambient light: The difficulty with daytime plans of staying inside out of sun is that there is more ambient light than one intends, e.g. Through windows, etc. Plans change, and driving in the car will lead to exposure to sun. Artificial lights vary in wavelength, but usually are not the major concern. Check the particular types of light used, but most people avoid problems by using Renova (tretinoin) at night. ...Read more

Botox and renova (tretinoin) at same time?

Yes: Botox is used to relax or paralyze certain muscles of expression that cause deep wrinkles or worry lines (ie: glabella, forehead, crows's feet). Renova is tretinoin, a derivative of vitamin a, which is topically as an anti-aging cream, to minimize pores, and to help with sun damage and age spots, and acne or whiteheads/blackheads. These products are complementary to one another. ...Read more

Is tretinex different than renova (tretinoin)?

Tretinex=Acne Only: Tretinex is acutaine and used for acne. Tretinoin (Retin-A) is a cream used to treat sun dsmaged skin. Renova, in my opinion, has no use as it is tretinoin mixed with mineral oil to prevent its penetrating the skin, thus markedly reducing its effectiveness. At your age, tretinoin is what you need. See a plastic surgeon or dermatologist experienced in skin rejuvenation. ...Read more

How much does renova (tretinoin) cream cost?

Forget Renova (tretinoin): Renova (tretinoin) does little of what you want it to. Instead see a plastic surgeon specializing in facial rejuvenation. Retin-a, the main ingredient in Renova (tretinoin) is prescriptive because it penetrates the skin to actually work. You will have some irritation at first, but your surgeon can help yu through it to wonderfully rejuvenated skin. I prefer the Retin-A combined in the obagi nu-derm system. ...Read more

Depends on skin type: These are all retin a containing products and the proper formulation for use depends on your skin type. For example if you have very oily skin, the gel works best. Can you use tazorac in the day and renova (tretinoin) at night, given that your skin can handle it?

???: Not a great idea.
First, sunlight inactivates retinoids so whichever one you use during the don't won't work as well.
Second, you really only need to use one retinoid. You won't get any more benefit from using two, or even from using the same one twice daily.
Finally, tazorac tends to be harsh and Renova (tretinoin) was made to be very gentle. Strange combination to use both. ...Read more

Heard that renova (tretinoin) cream made by galderma labs, and is a cheaper one, where can I find it?

Renova (tretinoin) Worthless: Renova (tretinoin) is Retin-A mixed with mineral oil to reduce the redness caused by Retin-A when you first start it. The redness is necessary for the Retin-A to work and the mineral oil is bad for your skin. The fact that you get no redness simply means that you are not getting any change. The redness goes away, but you you get the change you desire. Retin-a is best when combined. See a plastic surgeon. ...Read more

Age -spots treatment ; is renova (tretinoin) cream best?

Age Spot Treatment: Renova, (tretinoin) in my opinion, has no place in treating any skin condition. Retin-a replenishes collagen & reduces wrinkles. To treat spots requires hydroquinone. This can be used alone, but is best combined with retin-a, an Alpha hydroxy to remove abnormal cells, a pH restorer and a sun block. The obagi nu-derm system is the best way to do this. See a plastic surgeon specializing in skin rejuvenation. ...Read more
