Make sure you are not anemic & have no cancer wih loss of weight, or you are depressed. If the weakness is localized to one arm or leg or the face might be signs of stroke. Dad had meningioma removed (1 1/2 yrs ago). still gets occasional seizures, and has weakness in left side. taking meds, done PT. why still an issue?
Meningioma: Meningiomas arise from the meninges and compress the underlying brain. The irritation of the underlying brain can persist even after the meningioma is removed and lead to seizures and epilepsy. After a seizure, the body opposite to the side of the seizure is often weak (Todd's paralysis). Does face laser to remove hair cause discoloration & dark pigmentation to the skin? Does it also cause wrinkles/weakness of the skin? Using since 2004
Not usually: BUT different people call different things lasers. If you have a darker skin type then IPL for example (which some call laser but is not) can cause post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Assuming you had the laser hair removal done professionally, ask the person who did it what they used and what can be done now about the pigmentation. Another type of laser (1064 NdYag) perhaps. Unexplained mild anemia with hgb ranging from 12.5 to 13.6., benign polyps removed, benign stomach polyps + mild weakness. What would be the cause?
Find cause: Don't accept "unexplained" as the cause of an anemia, even a mild one. Either you're iron deficient (from diet, monthly or other loss, or bleeding from polyps), or you have thalassemia minor, or you have some other cause that you deserve to have found.
