Remeron (mirtazapine) is causing me painful periods I want to stop the medication and I take 15mg how should I do that?
Not a likely cause: You should stop the medication under instructions from the prescribing doctor. Good wishes. ...Read more

Choices: When you choose replacing one antidepressant by another, even if used off-label for sleep, there is risk. One of them is symptoms of depression coming back if your response is different to either drug. I m sure though that some things can be discussed in therapy to check if behaviors can be polished so no more jobs or relationships are lost again. Ask your dr. Best wishes. ...Read more

Maybe I'm dense, but: So you want to get OFF Remeron (mirtazapine) because you've read horror stories about people getting OFF Remeron (mirtazapine)? I don't get it.
