"Unforseen?": Don't really know what "unforseen" means here. Nausea, generalized weakness & mild confusion can be associated with migraine. Don't know about "sinus pressure." All those dopey people who say they've got "sinus"? 99% of them don't. "Sinus" is a relic of the Dristan era. Pressure in your head & neck pain can also happen with migraine, but it's not "sinus" pressure. What does "unforseen" mean? ...Read more

Type of this headache: very intense non-pulsating pain in back of 1 eye, but not red eye, sudden onset, 20 min. later sudden relief, several a day?

Any eye pain: could be an indication of a severe emergency. You need to have your eye pressure checked for glaucoma, which can be done in between such episodes. It would be very helpful to have it done with an episode, but if it is glaucoma, probably the pressure is up all the time and the pain is when it gets dangerously high. So don't delay, please. Chronic headaches : It sounds like you are suffering from chronic headaches or chronic migraines (because of the nausea). If the thyroid hormone levels are off that can also cause headaches; talk to your endocrinologist about it. You would benefit from seeing a headache specialist too. Vomiting...: Waking up vomiting at night wouldn't normally concern me; however, with the complaint of eye pain (? headache) associated with this episode, I would contact his pediatrician in the morning and be seen. May just be a virus (usually is!) but pain in the head that wakes you up at night and is associated with vomiting at least deserves an exam by his pediatrician. ...Read more

May be Meniere's: What you describe sounds like it may be Meniere's disease. Patients with Menieres' typically have periods of ear fullness and hearing loss in one ear, tinnitus, and bouts of vertigo and nausea which may last several hours.
