Without seeing: The lesions I am not sure what they are. Any lesion that would bleed though would concern me and i would likely biopsy for definitive diagnosis and treatment. In that region i would perform a shave biopsy of one of the lesions. ...Read more

Injury vs arthritis: It sounds like you may have an overuse injury. This could be anything from tendinitis to a torn ligament to a stress fracture. Or, you may be developing arthritic changes in the ankle joint. Best thing is to see podiatrist, sports medicine doc or orthopedist for exam, xrays, maybe other tests, treatment. ...Read more
