With sore throat, chronic cough and clear mucus, sounds like you may have allergies causing nasal drainage and post nasal drip leading to the sore throat and cough. Thoughts..: It could be post nasal dripping. This is a slow, constant drip to the back of the throat from the nose - can often be helped by allergy medicines.
