Three swollen cervical lymph nodes all on left side of neck some ear pain doctor HS seen one of them says wait 2 month fbc normal should I be worried?
Lymph nodes: The lymph nodes usually enlarge as response to an infection in the vicinity. It lasts maximum 2-3 weeks and as the infection goes away (with antibiotics usually) the lymph nodes disappear. Are there lymph nodes in the lower back area? Are they near the surface that if they get enlarged can be felt like for example cervical lymph nodes?
Yes: There are chains of lymph nodes in the back of the neck on both sides, called posterior chain nodes. There are also anterior chain nodes. Nodes which can be felt may be associated with infection, irritation or sometimes oncologic reasons. Regardless, nodes should be brought to your physician's attention to be documented and measured. A followup visit is what I usually do in two weeks. ...Read more

The only way to decide if is is "serious" is to determine what is causing it. Three years of supraclavicular lymphadenopathy would make me worry about the possibility of lymphoma (a type of blood cancer). See your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. ...Read more

Am on 5th month of TB lymphadenitis treatment.cervical lymph node regressed but another existing tiny node has enlarged now. What could be the cause?
Cervical nodes: there is no such thing as treatment for lymphadenitis. Your nodes are reacting to something. Deep cervical lymph nodes enlarging every 1-2 weeks. I have sle and sjogrens. Is this due to just the a.I.S or possibly cancer? What tests can I do?

These diseases also can increase the risk of lymphoma - a type of cancer which can also cause these lymph nodes to swell. It is also possible that your swollen lymph nodes are due to sinus problems, an infection, or something unrelated to your autoimmune disease. You should see your doctor to determine the best course for you. ...Read more
