Everyone is right!: Your baby is too young to take medicines without a doctor directly involved. Take your baby to a doctor for Dx and Tx as soon as possible. Till then, provide your nursing milk and prevent mucus from drying out w/ warm water. Crying may be OK as baby's way to clear out passages. ...Read more

I have 3wks baby and his having a cold and it sounds like a bit cough. What kind of treatment should I gave him? I'm also breast feeding having a cold

Likely viral illness: It is indeed winter time and colds/flu are everywhere. If baby is not having fever and still feeding, sleeping well, and urinating/stooling normally, no treatment needed. Nasal suction/saline drops for stuffy nose may suffice. If more severe symptoms and baby not feeding well, i recommending seeing his doc asap because he is only 3 wks old. Congrats on the baby and good luck. ...Read more

I am 5 weeks pregnant.I started having slight cough and wheezing. Is there any natural remedy for this.If i take any medicine will it affect my baby.?

Asthma!: Congratulations on your pregnancy. The medicines that we often use for cold and flu symptoms during pregnancy are considered safe, in general. I would hesitate treating this over-the-counter or with home remedies until you have seen a doctor. A cold, cough, and wheezing might be an indication of asthma, bronchitis, or pneumonia. This can be worse during pregnancy. Call you doctor to be seen! ...Read more
