And pain: I would think that the two symptoms are unrelated. The gas sensation can probably be dealt with by taking a ppi such as emeprozole and i would try a bowel softener such as metamucil to help the other symptoms. The symptoms all may be related to bad eating habits so i would stay away from fats and fries and try and eat a well rounded diet at regular times. ...Read more

Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx.
