None: There really is no effective home remedy for an ear infection that is inside the ear (otitis media). Pull at the upper part of her ear, if it hurts when you pull it, perhaps it is a swimmers ear or external ear infection. If this is the case, white vinegar drops will help you out. Ear pain: Does the ear ache when you pull on the ear lobe? If so you could have the start or a swimmer's ear. Try some alcohol in the ear canal to dry out any water that could have gotten behind any ear wax you had. Your ear could also have wax in it. If so, try some peroxide (hydrogen ) and it should bubble out. You may need a bulb syringe to assist in this regard. Use warm salt water to irrigate. ...Read more

Dont put it in ear: If you are feeling liquid in your ear, it may be a discharge from a middle ear infection with a hole in the eardrum. Do not put alcohol into your ear. It is toxic to tissues, and if you have a perforated eardrum it can cause damage to the delicate structures of the middle ear.
